Equipement rental terms
- Rental after allowed time will be followed by additional costs (double cost)
- You are responsible of rented equipement (canoe, kayak, paddle and lighter equipement such as buoyancy aid, helmet and spraydeck). Rented equipment shall be returned in its original condition and number and cleaned. If equipment is lost or damaged, you will be held fully responsible and we will charge a fee corresponding to the cost of the fixation of the equipement in case of damage and up to the cost of new equipement in case of lost or total damage.
- You should check that the equipement is correct for normal use before and after the rent together with our staff
- Floating aid inside the canoes and kayaks should not be removed.
- The use of canoes and kayaks in rapids is allowed only under certain conditions. For more details about this issue contact Sylvain Eckhardt (040-5840845). You have to respect the given safety instructions.
- Personal floating device (PFD or buoyancy aid) must always be worn when using the kayak or the canoe. Helmet must be worn when paddling on rapids.
- You are using kayaks and canoes at your own risk and are fully responsible for all your actions.
If you are a member of the club:
- Short term use is free of charge. Short term means return of the equipment the same day of use.
- You can rent equipement of the club for half price (50%), but only for your own use!
- Membership fee has to be paid before you intend to rent equipement with members discount.
- If you are participating to a two-day (week-end) trip organized by the club, the rental costs for the whole week-end is only 5euros for a single kayak and 10 euros for double kayak or open canoe.
